Encounter is a ministry devoted to loving students and sharing Jesus Christ with them in a relevant way. Teaching comes from these seven foundational points of Christianity:

• Authentic Faith – God can be trusted; He will do all He has promised to do. Proverbs 3:5-6
• Spiritual Disciplines – When you see as God sees, you will do as God says. Romans 12:2
• Moral Boundaries – Purity paves the way to intimacy. 1 Thessalonians 4:3-8
• Healthy Friendships – Friends will determine the direction & quality of life. Proverbs 13:20
• Wise Choices – Walk wisely. Ephesians 5:15-17
• Ultimate Authority – Maximum freedom is found under God’s authority. Romans 13:1-2
• Others First – Consider others before yourself. Philippians 2:3-11

Encounter has a variety of ages that include: 5th/6th Grade, Middle School, and High School. Each of these age groups has weekly activities that students may attend along with various mission projects, retreats, and outreach nights throughout the year.
